Thank you for using Prokerala API. Please read these terms and conditions carefully before using Our Service. By accessing or using our APIs, you are agreeing to the terms below.
Prokerala API Terms of Service is a legal agreement between You and Ennexa Technologies Pvt. Ltd, a company incorporated under the Companies Act 1956/2013, and having its registered/corporate office in Kochuparambil, Manarcadu P.O.,

“Access Codes” means the necessary security keys, secrets, tokens, passwords and/or other credentials to access the APIs
"Account" (also referred as "Developer Account") means an individual User's authorization to log in to and use the Service and serves as a User's identity on Prokerala.
"API" means Application Programming Interface which is a set of routines, protocols, and tools for building software applications
"Application" (also referred as "App", "API Clients") means any software application, web application, website, product or interface you create or service you offer using the Prokerala API Credentials, including a Private Application, Custom Application or a Public Application
"API Documentation" means the documentation, data and information that Prokerala provides regarding the use of the Prokerala API through the Developer Site
"Company" (also referred as "the Company", “Ennexa” "We", "Us" or "Our" in this Agreement) refers to Ennexa Technologies Private Limited.
“Credits” (also referred as “Credit Units”, “Credit Packages”) means non-convertible, non-refundable fictional currency units or fictional money that are used across Prokerala API services and are consumed for specific transactions (such as API calls). The value or number of credits is determined by the pricing plan chosen by a user.
"Data" means any data and content made available to you via the service.
“Developer” (also referred as “You”, “Your”, “User”) means an individual or entity that develops, owns or operates one or more Application(s) that accesses or uses the Prokerala API.
"Developer Site" – Prokerala's Developer Site found at https://api.prokerala.com/
“Duration” means the date upon which you agree to these Terms until terminated in accordance with the Termination clause below.
“Plan” (also referred to as “Pricing Plan”) means the pricing plan (available at https://api.prokerala.com/pricing) that you choose in connection with a Subscription to access Prokerala API services.
“Prokerala API” means all software, including routines, data structures, object classes, protocols, programs, templates, libraries and interfaces, application programming interfaces (APIs), software development kits (SDKs), developer tools, technical documentation, Updates and other related materials, whether tangible or intangible, in whatever form or medium that are made available by Prokerala at https://api.prokerala.com or as otherwise provided to you.
"Prokerala Brand" means Prokerala brand and brand assets including name, logo and trademarks.
"Service" means the documentation, developer services, related systems, guides, materials, references, technologies as well as the website https://api.prokerala.com, and all software, applications, data, reports, text, images, and other content made available by or on behalf of Prokerala in association with the access and use of the Prokerala APIs, together with the Prokerala APIs themselves through any of the foregoing.
“Subscription” means your subscription to the services through a plan of your choice for your access and use of an Account.
"Subscription Fees” means fee charged based on the Plan You choose for the Services
"Terms and Conditions" (also referred as "Terms", "Agreement") mean these Terms and Conditions that form the entire agreement between You and the Company regarding the use of the Service.
“Updates” means bug fixes, updates, upgrades, enhancements, modifications and new releases or versions of the Prokerala API.
"You" (also referred as "The User", "Your") means the individual accessing or using the Service, or the company, or other legal entity on behalf of which such individual is accessing or using the Service, as applicable.
Prokerala Astrology API provides automation capability to integrate a wide range of Astrology content by making simple API calls over HTTP
Acknowledgement
All use of Prokerala APIs, documentation, code and related materials made available to You by Us is subject to and must comply with (i) this Agreement; (ii) Prokerala’s Privacy Policy and (iii) the documentation and guidelines accompanying the applicable Prokerala APIs.
By accessing or using the Service You agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If You disagree with any part of these Terms and Conditions then You may not access the Service.
You represent that you are over the age of 18 and have the power and authority to enter into this Agreement. You may not use the Prokerala API and may not accept the Terms if you are not of legal age to form a binding contract with the Company.
By accessing or otherwise using the Prokerala API, You acknowledge that You have read all the terms and conditions of this Agreement and agree to be bound by the terms and conditions of this Agreement. If You are dissatisfied with the terms, conditions, rules, policies, guidelines, or practices of Prokerala, Your sole and exclusive remedy is to discontinue accessing or otherwise using the Prokerala API.
You agree that the Service or Data may contain seeds to help us identify unauthorized use of the Service or Data, and you hereby agree not to remove any such seeds from the Service or Data
Prokerala.com website and Prokerala APIs are owned and operated by Ennexa Technologies Pvt. Ltd., an Indian technology company incorporated under the Companies Act 1956/2013, and having its registered/corporate office at

You and Prokerala.com are independent and no partnership, joint venture, or franchisor-franchisee relationship is intended or created by this Agreement, or the Terms and Conditions.
Grant of License
Subject to the Terms, Prokerala grants you a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, non-transferable, non-sublicensable, revocable and limited license to use and make calls to the Prokerala API solely in connection with developing, implementing and distributing your Application that interoperates or integrates with the Service, and solely in the manner described in the Terms and in the technical documentation contained in the Prokerala API.
Use of Prokerala API Data & Services and the Prokerala API is licensed, and not sold.
Subject to Your compliance with the terms of this Agreement, You are hereby permitted to receive, process, and display Prokerala API Data & Services to individual end-users of your application(s) provided the use of Prokerala APIs to support your Application and any Content in your Application does not violate the 'Use of License' of the Terms of Service
Restrictions
In addition to other restrictions contained in these Terms, you agree not to do any of the following, unless expressly permitted by Prokerala in these Terms or in writing by Prokerala:
All 'Free Plan' users of Prokerala API content must provide attribution by way of a clickable hyperlink to Prokerala.com website at https://www.prokerala.com
While paid usage of the Prokerala API is not subject to Your end users being made aware by You that Prokerala is supplying the functionality you are making use of in your application(s), Your inclusion of a clickable hyperlink to the Prokerala.com website would be highly appreciated.
Your Responsibility to SafeguardYou shall use Your best efforts and take all necessary steps to safeguard Prokerala API Data & Services to ensure that no unauthorized reproduction, publication, disclosure, modification, distribution, or other use of any Prokerala API Data & Services is made in whole or in part. To the extent that You become aware of any such unauthorized use of Prokerala API Data & Services, You shall immediately notify Prokerala by emailing “support@prokerala.com”.
Misuse of the Licensed ProductIn the event that You or any end users use Prokerala API Data & Services or the Prokerala API in violation of this Agreement, as applicable, Prokerala shall have the option of electing liquidated and ascertained damages.
You acknowledge and agree that these API Terms and the license and other rights granted herein do not create an exclusive relationship between you and Prokerala. Prokerala may, or may engage or permit others to, develop products or services that may compete with the API Clients or any other products or services.
To obtain your Access Codes, you must create an account through Prokerala’s developer site at: http://api.prokerala.com/. You may not sell, transfer, sublicense or otherwise disclose your Access Codes to any other party. You are responsible for maintaining the secrecy and security of your Access Codes. If you become aware of any unauthorized use of your Access Codes, you agree to notify Prokerala immediately. Notwithstanding the foregoing, or anything to the contrary, you are fully responsible for all activities that occur using your Access Codes. You are also responsible for ensuring that your Developer Account information provided by you is at all times accurate, current and complete. Your failure to provide accurate, current and complete Developer Account information may result in Prokerala terminating your ability to use the APIs by terminating your Access Codes.
You may terminate the agreement or cancel your Developer account under these Terms for any reason or no reason at all at your convenience by discontinuing use of our APIs or by closing your account.
Access to the API may be terminated or suspended by Prokerala at any time and at Prokerala’s sole discretion. Prokerala may suspend or terminate your use of all or any of the APIs or Content at any time if we believe you have violated these Terms, or, in our sole discretion, we believe the availability of the APIs in your Application is not in our best interest. We may discontinue the availability of some or all of the services, APIs or any Content at any time for any reason. We shall provide you with 30 days notice unless we discontinue such availability to protect the security or integrity of the APIs and related offerings, to address data security issues, for legal compliance reasons, or to the extent necessary to mitigate damages in relation to third party litigation. We may also impose limits on certain features and services or restrict your access to some or all of the APIs, Content or our Services.
Although we will endeavor to provide prior notice of our exercise of our rights to termination, all of our rights in these Terms may be exercised without prior notice or liability to you and Prokerala reserves the right at any time to modify or discontinue, temporarily or permanently, your access to the API or website (or any part thereof) with or without notice.
Effect of Termination
Upon termination, Your right to use the Service will cease immediately and:
Ennexa is committed to free and open access to our APIs for commercial and non-commercial purposes. However, providing the APIs does have real costs for Ennexa. For use of Prokerala APIs over a certain rate or for certain types of commercial applications, Ennexa reserves the right to charge fees for use of or access to the Prokerala APIs.
Prokerala API is available in Free Plan and Paid Plan. If you are on a free plan you will not be charged any Subscription fee.
When you are on a paying Plan, you shall be charged a Subscription fee based on the Plan you choose for the service. Unless specified otherwise herein or in a pricing agreement, the subscription fees are payable in full and in advance on a recurrent basis (every 30 days for monthly payment plan and 365 days for annual payment plan) until a cancellation is issued or your subscription is terminated in accordance with the relevant sections of this agreement.
By selecting a payment plan you agree to pay Prokerala the monthly or annual subscription fees indicated for that service. Payments will be charged on a pre-pay basis on the day you sign up for a plan and will cover the use of that service for a monthly or annual subscription period as indicated.
You agree that subscription fees will be automatically added as non-convertible, non-refundable, non-sublicensable, non-transferable and expirable credit packs having no monetary value in your account. Prokerala reserves the right to change the value or number of Credits that goes with a Pricing plan.
You agree to pay the subscription fees through a payment method acceptable to us. You hereby authorize us and/or our authorized agents, as applicable, to bill you in accordance with your plan and/or pricing agreement for your subscription (and any renewal thereof). Unless otherwise stated in a pricing agreement, your payment is due in full immediately upon each due date with respect to your subscription. You may notify us of any change in your payment account information either by updating your account or via e-mail to billing@ennexa.com.
Unless otherwise agreed to in a pricing agreement, Prokerala reserves the right to change the subscription fees, renewal term and billing methods upon a thirty (30) day notice. For existing subscriptions for which the subscription fees has been already received by us, we will implement the price changes during the next Renewal Term.
Where we do not receive payment towards the subscription fees within the due date for a subscription, we may :
Unless otherwise specified in these Terms or pricing agreement, any prepaid licensing fees, subscription fees or other fees paid by you to Prokerala or any unused credits left in your account shall not be refunded under any circumstance. Prokerala do not provide refunds or credits for any partial use or non-use of the Services.
You may upgrade or downgrade between the Plans. You understand that downgrading may cause loss of features or capacity of the services as available to you before downgrading your subscription. We will not be liable for such loss. When You downgrade, the downgraded pricing will take effect only a the end of the existing billing cycle.
Upon upgrade, the new Subscription Fees for the subsisting month would be charged on a pro-rated basis and shall be payable in accordance with the terms of payment under this agreement. Subsequent months will be charged in full according to the new Subscription Fees and any credits will be adjusted appropriately. When you upgrade, the new subscription fees become immediately applicable.
Caching Data
Where Data is cached, you should refresh the cache at least every 24 hours.
Upon Termination of service or deletion of Developer account, you must delete all content or other data which you stored pursuant to your use of the APIs
No Other StoringYou may not copy or store any Data or capture or store any information expressed by the Data (such as hashed or transferred data), except to the extent permitted by this API TOS
Commercial UseYou may charge for your Application. However, you may not sell, rent, lease, sublicense, redistribute, or syndicate access to the Prokerala API.
AdvertisingYou may place advertisements on and around your Application
Rate Limits (API Limitations )Prokerala sets and enforces limits on your use of the APIs (e.g. limiting the number of API requests that you may make or the number of users you may serve), in our sole discretion.You agree to and will not attempt to exceed or circumvent limitations on access, calls and use of Prokerala API, or otherwise use the Prokerala API in a manner that exceeds reasonable request volume, constitutes excessive or abusive usage, or otherwise fails to comply or is inconsistent with any part of this API TOS or the Documentation. If you would like to use any API beyond these limits, you must obtain Prokerala’s express consent (and Prokerala may decline such request or condition acceptance on your agreement to additional terms and/or charges for that use). To seek such approval, contact the relevant Prokerala API team for information. Our present rate limits are 5 requests per minute per IP address for Free Plan users, 60 requests per minute per IP address for Ruby Plan users, 300 requests per minute per IP address for Sapphire Plan users. Prokerala reserves the right to change the rate limits that goes with a Pricing plan in our sole discretion.
PublicityYou grant us a limited, non-exclusive, non-assignable, non-sublicensable, and non-transferable license during the Duration to display your trade names, trademarks, service marks, logos and domain names (collectively, “Your Brand Features”) to promote or advertise your use of the APIs in your Application. Any good will in Your Brand Features resulting from our use will inure solely to you.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Ennexa, Prokerala and its officers, directors, employees, advertisers or partners from and against any and all claims, demands, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including legal fees), arising out of or in connection with:
The API is provided by Prokerala in good faith and although Prokerala endeavors to ensure that Prokerala API Data & Services and the Prokerala API are accurate and obtained from sources believed to be reliable, Prokerala does not guarantee or warrant:
Prokerala API is provided "as is" with no warranty, express or implied, of any kind and we expressly disclaim any and all warranties and conditions, including any implied warranty or condition of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, availability, security, title and/or non-infringement. Some of the APIs may be experimental and may have not been tested in any manner. We do not represent, warrant or make any condition that the API is free of inaccuracies, errors, bugs or interruptions, or are reliable, accurate, complete or otherwise valid. Your use of the API is at your own discretion and risk, and you will be solely responsible for any damage that results from use of the API including for any damage to your computer system or loss of data. No advice or information, whether oral or written, obtained by you from us or through or from our website or our services shall create any warranty or condition not expressly stated in these terms.
Governing Law and JurisdictionAny dispute arising out of these terms and conditions, user agreement, privacy policy or the documents they incorporate by reference and/or your use of the service shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of India, notwithstanding any conflicts of law.
You specifically consent to submit any dispute arising out of these terms and conditions/User agreement to the jurisdiction of courts of Kottayam, Kerala, India.
Prokerala reserves the right to modify these API Terms and Conditions from time to time in its sole discretion, without notice or liability to you. If a modification is unacceptable to you, you may terminate these API Terms and Conditions by ceasing use of the API. By continuing to use the API, you will be deemed to have accepted these modifications. Please review the most current version of the API Terms and Conditions from time to time, located at https://api.prokerala.com/tos (or such successor URL as Prokerala may provide), so that you will be apprised of any changes.
